On May 16th the Osteria del Lago in Monte San Martino was visited by an Australian television crew who are currently shooting the documentary “Made in Italy,” featuring the culture and food of Molise, Abruzzi and Le Marche.  This filming is the result of an accidental meeting.  Last February Deborah Kuleff, the researcher for “Made in Italy,” along with some crew members lost their way and stopped at the Osteria del Lago to ask directions.  As a result of the savoury aroma permeating the air, they asked Luciana if they might return to film her preparing “agnello rosolato alle erbe aromatiche” (lamb cooked with aromatic herbs) and roasted potatoes.  During the filming, actress and cook Silvia Colloca interviewed and interacted with chef Luciana Sciamanna.  The filming crew work for FreemantleMedia, founded in Australia in 2006 and now one of the largest international production companies in the world.  They produce leading prime-time and serial drama as well as entertainment programs and documentaries in over 40 countries.  They will continue filming “Made in Italy” for some time.  The show should air in Australia in early 2015 and then be shown in various other countries around the world…….Congratulations Luciana!
